What we do
Five activities in one company.
We explore and mine in Zambia, process without mercury, place metal with established refiners and buyers, finance producers, and keep the records that make each parcel traceable. Zambezi Aurum Resources is a Zambian mining, trading and mine-finance company, headquartered in Lusaka and structured through a Swiss group in Zug.

Exploration
We take ground from licence to drill-ready in stages and fund each stage only when the previous one supports it. We hold exploration licences in Zambia's Irumide Belt, Muchinga Province.

Mining & processing
Open-pit and shallow underground mining, with modular gravity plants sized to the orebody. Gravity concentration is our standard. No mercury is used at any site we operate, finance or buy from.

Trading & offtake
Our desk places Zambian and regional production with established refiners, trading houses and industrial buyers in Switzerland, the UAE and China. Every buyer is screened before introduction. Every parcel is independently sampled and assayed.

Gold doré
Semi-refined bars with assay certificate, prepared for refinery acceptance.
Gold concentrate
Mercury-free gravity concentrate with lot record and independent assay.
Copper concentrate
Oxide and sulphide concentrate on TC/RC terms; payable Cu, Au, Ag.
Copper ore
Run-of-mine ore for domestic processing within Zambia only.

Mine finance
Capital for small and mid-scale producers, structured around production and mine life. We remain involved after funding through processing support and offtake.

Survey & data
Both platforms are developed by our Swiss group company and licensed to ZAR. Aurum Atlas™ combines aerial, satellite and ground data to decide where to drill and how to mine. The Gold Provenance Passport™ records where each parcel came from.

The company
Operator and financier.
We produce and market gold and copper on our own account, and use the same people and systems to finance and support other producers. Our commercial team has worked in commodity trading, structured trade finance and logistics at international trading houses and banks. Our technical team brings Zambian field geology, processing and mine-planning experience.
